You’ll have a virtual grocery store tour where you can see the products, packages and study labels of foods special to your food allergy profile. With Kimberly Mathai, RD, RDN, CDE, as your nutrition guide, you’ll learn how to cook safely with your allergies and how to modify your favorite recipes to be allergy-free. The good news is that your food allergy challenges will get easier to manage with time and practice.
Supplementing Nutrient Deficiencies
Restrictive food plans may cause nutritional deficiencies. You’ll learn what nutrients you may be lacking and what foods to eat to meet your nutrient goals. In addition, your nutritionist, Kimberly Mathai, RD, RDN, CDE, will make recommendations for supplemental nutrition, as needed.
Children with Food Allergies
For parents who have children with food allergies, you may feel you have special challenges feeding your child. Kimberly Mathai, RD, RDN, CDE can help you understand how to manage your child’s picky eating and add variety to your child’s meal. She can offer strategies to avoid food fights at home, but educate your child to refuse unsafe foods away from home.
